A fabulous school

An exhibition where the development of school and teacher education is shaped in a playful and educational way. Here are also some of our most popular artists’ pictures from newspapers and books for children. In the Swedish ”Folkskolan” Act 1842, for the first time, all children were allowed to go to school. Since then, school, pedagogy, teacher role and, not least, the children’s terms have changed – and debated. What can we learn from the story and how do we want it in the future?
